The Beginning

Randy has a rich heritage of gospel music from his family’s roots. His father’s family traveled and sang for churches all around Alabama and Georgia. After Randy received his first harmonica at the age of fourteen, he began his musical journey. Randy traveled with his family’s group before moving on to a regional group known as  The Galileans. The five year tenure with The Galileans gave Randy a great deal of experience. At that time, God opened the door for him to acquire a position with The Kingsmen Quartet from Asheville, North Carolina.  Randy was with the Kingsmen for seven years.  After much prayer and consideration, Randy felt led to go into the solo ministry in October 1999.
